The primary purpose of the Business Analyst is to interpret business strategies, transforming them into high level business and operational architectures and designs, and to specify functional & non-functional requirements as part of the overall definition of solutions to support business needs.
You will be responsible for gathering, analysing and specifying business requirements to recognised standards, and within the time constraints established for the programme.
As a Business Analyst you will be responsible for identifying and capturing business use cases, and producing high level requirements, and functional and non functional specifications for projects. You will also build strong close relationships with clients
You will re-engineer business operations to improve business results and operational effectiveness. You will evaluate complex business requirements and model data and / or system requirements. Analyze and document complex business problems. Develop and implement business testing strategies. Coordinate, upgrade and rollout of larger and more complex projects.
Key tasks include:
Review overall strategy, operations, marketing, customer service and new product delivery.
To work with the business to define the functional, non-functional and service level requirements for IT solutions, and to ensure requirements traceability for the IT solution through all stages of the project.
To define clear, concise and verifiable requirements for all IT solutions such that technical solutions can be developed, implemented and managed.
To assist with effective implementation of developed IT solutions and to support user acceptance testing.
Integrate and encourage the planning, budgeting and forecasting processes together with the business responsibles.
Advising on use of computer related technologies, strategic enterprise architectures, management of large IT initiatives. |

Deep knowledge of the IT industry
Proficiency in English
Knowledge of:
o Assisting with the Business case
o Gathering of requirements
o Designing and/or reviewing test cases
o Processing change requests
o Tracing the requirements during implementation (traceability matrix)
